Money Heist:
Money Heist is a Spanish series that started in the year 2017 and is a tale of 3 different heists, two occurring on the Royal Mint of Spain and one on the Bank of Spain. The series revolves around The Professor and his team of heist specialists who are chased by the police and other authorities narrated in a way that you’ll stay glued to the screen!The series comprises of four nail-biting seasons and fans await the return of the Professor and his team for Money Heist Season 5.
Death Note:
This Japanese manga is nothing short of a masterpiece written by Tsugumi Ohba. The story revolves around Light Yagami, an extraordinary teen who finds himself in the possession of an all-powerful otherworldly notebook or the ‘Death Note’, which can take the life of any person whose name is written in the Death Note. The series revolves around Light exploiting the power of the Death Note beyond control and the consequences that follow!A must watch for all and anime fans in particular!
Blacklist:
The Blacklist is an American crime thriller television series that premiered in the year 2013. With Raymond Red Reddington, a criminal who earlier served in the Navy, as the protagonist who tells the authorities of a list of most dangerous criminals around the world, the series has received a great response for all its seasons.Fun Fact 👀
The inspiration for The Blacklist came from the capture of Whitey Bulger who turned himself in, with some rules to be followed by the authorities to get their hands on the names of the people Whitey had worked with!True Detective:
The series follows Detective Rustin “Rust” Cohle, played by Matthew McConaughey and a female lead played by Maggie Hart. True Detective takes its viewers through a swirl of infectious narratives in the form of cases and mysteries. It is definitely one of the finest series in the genre and is sure to leave you at the edge of your seat!Breaking Bad:
This classic is one that you may have watched already and have definitely heard a lot of chatter over! Breaking Bad follows a mild-mannered high school chemistry professor, Walter White who is frustrated when his life takes a turn after getting diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.Realizing he needs to make most of the time he has, Walter chooses to set up a meth lab in an old RV, with the help of a local dealer Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul). Over its five-season, Breaking Bad does not fail to impress for even a minute, as the story navigates through the mindset of a high school professor turned dealer and his accomplice Jesse Pinkman, their arguments, fights, deals, and dangers of the criminal underworld.

How could we possibly miss out on one of our favorite shows of all time, Sherlock! With a bunch of modern-day cases and the addition of technological gadgets and tools to the classic Sherlock Holmes tales by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock follows the protagonist played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and his ally Dr. John Watson, played by Martin Freeman.The series also gives life to one of the sharpest criminal masterminds, Jim Moriarty! Sherlock and Jim Moriarty’s chemistry in the series is almost mesmerizing and the series captures with perfection, Jim’s desire to play games and create puzzles in the real world, and Sherlock’s obsession with solving them!
These were some of our favorite suspense thriller series on Netflix and we would recommend them all for a binge-watch session in the lockdown!
